On July 23-28, 2023 the 7th international conference entitled "Georgia against Counterfeit Goods", the meetings of the working group of intellectual property specialists and the Trans-Caspian countries’ intellectual property forum were held in the city of Batumi, Republic of Georgia, in which the Office employees, representatives from the Customs Service and the Police of the Republic of Armenia took part.

During the two-day conference, speakers of international organizations presented their observations on the global challenges of counterfeit goods and digital counterfeiting, panel discussions were held on regional updates. 

At the meetings of the Working Group of Intellectual Property Specialists, it was decided to establish working groups in the participating countries, the common goal of which will be to improve trade, investment and economic growth in the Eastern European region through the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights.

During the Trans-Caspian Intellectual Property Forum regional challenges and progress in the protection and enforcement of IP rights were discussed.
