It was organized with the assistance of the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO) and the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

The seminar brought together experts and interested parties from various fields to discuss essential issues of patent examination and intellectual property rights. Тhe seminar was opened with a welcome speech by Ms. Kristine Hambaryan, Head of the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, followed by speeches by honored guests, including Mr. Grigory Ivliev, President of the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO), and other officials.

The seminar agenda covered a wide range of topics, from the examination of computer inventions and inventions with elements of artificial intelligence to the issues of patenting pharmaceutical inventions and protecting graphical interfaces, including a round table dedicated to the examination of designs with the elements of protected trademarks and copyright objects.

In order to strengthen and deepen cooperation, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Service for Intellectual Property of the Russian Federation.

As part of the visit, the Head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property of the Russian Federation (Rospatent) Yury Zubov held an official meeting with the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Rafael Gevorkyan, during which the events in the field of intellectual property were reviewed.
