Within the framework of the 65th conferences of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the delegation of the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia led by the Head of the Office met with Mr. Habib Asan, the Director of the Division of Transitional and Developed Countries (TDC) of WIPO.
During the meeting, they discussed the support of WIPO for the activities planned by the intellectual property development strategy, which is still under development, the financing of the translation of educational materials for teaching in the intellectual property training center being established in Armenia together with the WIPO Academy, as well as questions regarding the event entitled "Protection of Geographical Indications" to be held in Yerevan in November this year.
At the request of the Armenian side, WIPO also plans to hold one of the significant WIPO events in the Republic of Armenia during 2025-2026.
