Within the framework of the 65th WIPO conferences, the RA delegation also met with Mr. Sherif Saadallah, executive director of the Academy of the World Intellectual Property Organization.
The head of the IP Office of the RA, Kristine Hambaryan, informed that the work related to the intellectual property training center, which is being created jointly with the WIPO Academy, has reached the final stage. It is planned to sign a memorandum of understanding with the American University of Armenia to establish a training center.
Mr. Saadallah emphasized that the cooperation with the WIPO Academy is continuous, presented various programs of WIPO Academy, and expressed readiness to implement other programs aimed at the development of intellectual property in the Republic of Armenia.
