The 44th session of the Administrative Council of the Eurasian Patent Organization was held on July 11, 2024, within the framework of the 65th WIPO conferences. It was held at WIPO headquarters and was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Eurasian Patent Convention.
The meeting was attended by the authorized representatives of the Eurasian Patent Convention member states, and the heads of the divisions coordinating the sphere of intellectual property.
WIPO General Director Darren Tang, as well as the President of the Eurasian Patent Organization  Grigory Ivliev, made a welcome speech.
The annual report of the Eurasian Patent Organization for 2023 was presented at the session of the Administrative Council.
During the session, a decision was made to improve the conditions of scholarship programs and training programs of the Eurasian Patent Organization, as well as to implement the exchange of patent documents through the electronic platform.
