The thirty-sixth session of the Standing Committee on the Law of Patents (SCP) of the World Intellectual Property Organization was held in Geneva, Switzerland, from October 14 to 18, 2024, in which the employee of the Intellectual Property Office of the RA Ministry of Economy participated.

The Standing Committee on Patent Law was established in 1998 to discuss patent matters, facilitate their coordination, and provide guidance for the international development of patent law.

At the 36th session of the Standing Committee on Patent Law, topics such as the patent systems of international and participating countries, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology to create new technical solutions, patents in the health system, technology transfer, and others were discussed.

An employee of the Intellectual Property Office participated in the above meetings and discussions.
