According to the RA-EU comprehensive and enhanced partnership agreement (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement) more than 3,000 geographical indications and appellation of origin have been granted legal protection in the RA territory, the list of which is attached to the Agreement (Annex X).
Any use of geographical indications and appellations of origin by business entities included in the above list with respect to a product or service will be considered illegal and will cause legal consequences.
