On March 10-12, 2025, a study visit on the topic “On Structures and Policies of Creative Hubs” organized by the European Commission's Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX) took place in Finland, during which employees of the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia visited the “Kaapeli” factory, the largest cultural center in Helsinki.
As part of the study visit, the Office's employees also visited the Helsinki “Oodi” Central Library, which houses state-of-the-art workshops equipped with equipment such as laser and 3D printers, sewing machines, and other tools that can be useful for activities related to the creation of industrial designs and branding development.
Thanks to the study visit, the Office's employees gained a comprehensive understanding of the structure and activities of creative centers, a number of issues related to the development of public policy supporting creative elements in the intellectual property sector, as well as creative and original solutions for industrial designs related to art and culture, trademarks subject to legal protection, and industrial designs.
