On May 23, 2025, an event was held to engage the beneficiaries of the program titled "Unveiling Value: Intellectual Property as a Driving Force for the Sustainable Development of Armenian Winemaking" The event was organized through the collaboration of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the Intellectual Property Office, and the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia (VWFA). Participants included Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Anushik Avetyan, Head of the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economy Kristine Hambaryan, Executive Director of the VWFA Zaruhy Muradyan, as well as other representatives of the field. During the event, issues related to the development of armenian winemaking and the strengthening of its position in the international market were discussed, along with a number of topics related to intellectual property. In addition, a panel discussion was held on branding and geographical indications.
