From May 12 to 23, 2025, the annual training course for expert specialists of the patent offices of the states party to the Eurasian Patent Convention (EAPC) was held in Moscow, Russian Federation, under the title: “Eurasian Patent System for Inventions: Practical Issues of Examination in the Fields of Mechanics and Physics; Patentability of Solutions in the Field of Computer Technologies and Artificial Intelligence.”
Staff members of the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia participated in the training.

During the practice-oriented training, the following topics were discussed: “Eurasian Patent System for Inventions,” “Practical Issues of Examination in the Fields of Mechanics and Physics,” and “Patentability Determination in the Field of Computer Technologies and Artificial Intelligence.”

Within the framework of these discussions, representatives of the Intellectual Property Office delivered a presentation titled “Examination of Inventions in Armenia: Practical Examples” (in slideshow format), and also took part in a roundtable discussion on exchanging professional experience. Proposals were made to expand and implement best practices in the field of intellectual property within the national patent offices of the Eurasian region and to strengthen professional interaction in the area of invention examination.
