On July 9, 2025, within the framework of the 66th Meetings of the Assemblies of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) member countries, the delegation of the Republic of Armenia, led by Kristine Hambaryan, Head of the Intellectual Property Office, met with Habip Asan, Director of the Division for Transition and Developed Countries of WIPO.

During the discussion, the parties addressed the current state of bilateral cooperation in the field of intellectual property and possible developments.

They also discussed potential areas of bilateral cooperation, including the possibility of implementing joint initiatives in the field of intellectual property protection.

In particular, they touched upon the progress of organizing a seminar on copyright to be held in Yerevan and the prospects of cooperation with Armenia in this direction.

The parties emphasized the importance of such cooperation for developing local capacities and exchanging international experience.
