On July 16, 2025, a working meeting was held at the headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) between the head of the Geographical Indications Division of WIPO and the delegation of the Intellectual Property Office of the Republic of Armenia, led by the head of the office.

The focus of the discussion was on geographical indications, which are among the priority areas of intellectual property for Armenia. The parties discussed increasing the international recognition of Armenian traditional products, as well as opportunities for experience exchange and technical assistance in the field.

The parties emphasized the importance of ongoing cooperation aimed at protecting the interests of local producers at the international level.
