On September 2–3, 2025, in the city of Tsaghkadzor, a series of two-day workshops was held, organized by the responsible technical assistance team within the framework of the project for the creation of the geographical indication “Armenian Brandy”.

The event was attended by representatives of the technical assistance team of the “Armenian Brandy” geographical indication project, representatives of companies producing alcoholic beverages, including Armenian brandy, staff members of various departments of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, as well as representatives of supervisory and certification bodies and laboratories.

During the workshops, a number of important topics were discussed, including:

- Draft technical specification of the product under the “Armenian Brandy” geographical indication,

- Marketing strategy for the Association of Armenian Brandy Producers,

- Preliminary version of the logo of the “Armenian Brandy” geographical indication,

- Presentations by representatives of supervisory and certification bodies on the activities carried out by them.
