This year marks the first-ever IP Examiner’s Day on November 11 by World Intellectual Property Organization, celebrating the expertise and impact of intellectual property examiners worldwide in the IP field.  
This initiative is part of WIPO’s ongoing campaign on Celebrating and Empowering IP Examiners, undertaken within the framework of the Development Agenda (DA) Project on Empowering and Celebrating IP Examiners, proposed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to WIPO’s Committee on Development and Intellectual Property (CDIP). Approved in December 2024 and launched in January 2025, the project aims to strengthen and support examiner capacities engaged in the IP field and highlight their indispensable contributions to the global IP system.
