On February 26, 2026, the discussion of the draft law “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Armenia ‘On Copyright and Related Rights’” took place.

The meeting was attended by members of the Council of the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia, members of the Council of the Chamber of Architects of Armenia, representatives of the Armenian Restaurants Association, representatives of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation, representatives of the non-governmental organization “Armauthor,” lawyers, representatives of a number of state authorities, and other field specialists.

During the discussion, the main conceptual approaches proposed in the draft were presented and examined. The participants put forward a number of proposals which, according to the agreement reached, will be submitted in writing to the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
