Within the framework of the cooperation between the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and with the support of the EU-funded EU4IP project, representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Armenia participated in an international workshop dedicated to the investigation and prosecution of intellectual property crimes. The workshop took place on 10–11 September 2026 at EUIPO headquarters in Alicante, Spain.

The workshop was organized by EUIPO and Eurojust alongside the 13th Workshop of the European Intellectual Property Prosecutors Network (EIPPN). Participants included prosecutors and intellectual property enforcement specialists from EU Member States, Ukraine, Moldova, and other partner countries.

Discussions focused on recent developments in the investigation and prosecution of intellectual property crimes, legislative and judicial practices, online fraud, and international cooperation.

The event provided an opportunity for the representatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia to familiarize themselves with European best practices, strengthen professional networks, and promote international cooperation in the field of intellectual property rights protection.
