The Appeal Board is established within the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia and in the course of its activity resolves controversial issues related to the legal protection of industrial property objects, including the provision of their legal protection, and also performs other functions defined by law, including consideration of applications to recognize trademarks as famous in the Republic of Armenia. The appeal board's decision is considered the state-authorized body's final decision.
