On September 2–3, 2025, in the city of Tsaghkadzor, a series of two-day workshops was held, organized by the responsible technical assistance team within the framework of the project for the creation of the geographical indication “Armenian Brandy”.
From May 13 to 15, 2025, the Third Global Summit on Intellectual Property and Access to Medicines, titled “TRIPS@30: The Access Crisis,” was held in Marrakesh, Kingdom of Morocco. A representative from the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia participated in the summit.

On 01.04.2025, applications for registration of geographical indications "Armenian Lavash", "Armenian Basturma", "Armenian Sujukh", and "Armenian Matsoun" were submitted.
